@theximenezfatiohouse Mortality & Mourning Tour leads an intimately sized group through the candle lit house in historic downtown St. Augustine from foyer to attic. The guide and exhibits describe the reality of life, death, and spirituality led by the women and enslaved peoples of early St. Augustine. How they moved through wars and evolving freedoms based on class, religion, and the melding of the two. What mourning traditions do you wish were carried over from your cultural traditions? How have you adjusted them to continue today?
